Rising in the Face of Adversity
(written for a poetry challenge in group ‘Poetry…’ on FB)
The poem is written straight up off the alphabet. It was challenge but the following is what I came up with. Anyone who follows this blog, feel free to take the challenge!!
Always begrudgingly carrying discontented emotions
Following great hardship in justification
Knowing love might never open
Pressuring questions returning specious truths
Unearthing vehement whirlwinds
Xtracting your zest
