once foremost, the transition to the rear has begun
it’s moving slowly…

the light is dimming, there is no sun
it’s fading…
fading…
there is no more desire to step forward
retreating back…
back…
withdrawing from what once mattered
it doesn’t matter…
recede…
fade…
you’re fading…
…to black.
