So I miss you when you’re gone
But when you return, you’re still away
So falling asleep for me is the same as staying awake
There is no meaning in a New Day
Because today is the same as yesterday
And it’s just as cold… it’s just as cold…
Because you won’t take me into your arms to hold
So I’ll continue to be alone… alone…

I have been longing for your embrace

Even when placed upon a platter in your face
